The PickPack process aims to automate the transmission of data to the warehouse for picking & packing, ensuring that higher priority orders take precedence for fulfillment when stockouts occur. The integration utilizes ERP ‘hard allocation’, which will add visibility on stock records where this is required by other orders which have already been sent for picking. The process will also produce data that can be mined to analyse the occurrence of stockouts and root causes.

The Pick Pack process performs the following functions:

· Checks orders that are ‘Ready to fulfill.’

· Creates a picking queue. Of orders pending submission.

· Checks the stock levels. For orders pending submission.

· Defines a picking window. Of orders ready to be submitted.

· Sequences orders. Based on their priority.

It is also possible to set up an implementation of PickPack which will perform the process based on a manual selection of orders.

The PickPack integration is comprised of the following core components:

· General Process: The scheduled process which calculates available stock and transmits orders for picking based on priority within the queue

· Emergency Processing: Manual process which allows bypass of the configured calculation and validation and transmits orders directly to the warehouse without checking stock

· Stock Out Dashboard: Facilitates the closeout of stocked out lines or alternatively allows for change of the Need By Date

Aside from the stock-out dashboard, there are also the following review dashboards available:
