When manually training or using online training to assist with future document extraction, there are occasions when two trained documents provide conflicting information to the extraction engine.
This information could be regarding a field's formatting, position on a document or a variety of other data.
Conflicts are shown in the 'Conflicts' column of the Extraction Set view. The conflicts can be resolved by clicking the 'Resolve Conflicts' option.
Selecting the 'Show All Fields' option in the 'Resolve Conflicts' screen can be helpful to see all related info.
When you have finished resolving the conflict in a document, click the next document button as below:

Correct Field Selection
You can select the correct field value in the document for the selected field. This will retrain the document with the new information.
Delete One Document's Single Field Data
This option will remove the single conflicting field data from the selected document.
While maintaining the data related to the entire other document and other fields in the current document.
This option is used when one document is entirely correct while the other is mainly correct except for a single
Delete Both Document's Single Field Data
This option will remove the single conflicting field data from both documents.
While maintaining the data related to the other fields in both documents.
This option is used when both documents contain valuable training data for the other fields but invalid data in both documents for the conflicted field.
Delete One Document
This option will remove the training data for the entire selected document. At the same time, maintaining the data related to the whole of other document.
This option is used when one document is entirely correct while the other is altogether incorrect.
Delete Both Documents
This option will remove the training data for both selected documents.
This option is used when both documents are entirely incorrect or contain no valuable training data.
Example
The below conflict has been caused by the same document being submitted twice with different fields selected for the VendorAmt.
Ordinarily, I would select to delete the right document's single field data as that is the incorrect field. However, after reviewing the other fields in the conflicted document, I can see that the PONum selection is also wrong. As such, I selected to delete the correct document.
